Scott W. Powers was a law clerk in the Oakland County Circuit Court
from 1995-2001, while he attended evening classes at Wayne State Law
School. He graduated from Wayne State Law School in 2000, and was sworn
in to practice law in the state of Michigan by his father, Judge Dennis
Powers.
Scott has practiced civil litigation, family law, and criminal law
until he left private practice in 2002, to work as in-house counsel for
DPS, a multi-million dollar technology company in Novi Michigan, where
he eventually became its General Counsel.
In 2008, Scott W. Powers left his position as General Counsel to once
again start his own private practice. The combination of his experience
in court, private practice, and as General Counsel sets him apart from
other attorneys and uniquely positions him to provide you service in
both civil and criminal matters. His passion for the human experience

He is married with two children, and is an owner of Simply
